Early Voting Information

In Houston, there are 52 early voting location sites open from 7 a.m.- 7 p.m., with the exception of October 27, when poll hour operation times change to 1 p.m.- 6 p.m. Find your nearest voting location here.
Multicultural Education and Counseling through the Arts (MECA) has stepped in to take charge of Talento Bilingue (one of Houston’s oldest Latino arts and culture institutions) following fears that it might permanently close down. With the support of the Mayor’s Hispanic Advisory Board and an $80,000 city grant, they have big plans to create a Latino cultural center for residents and visitors. You can visit TBH just outside of EaDo adjacent to Guadalupe Plaza Park near Jensen and Navigation.
Hot Cheetos croissants, pho kolaches and more unique pastries will be available in EaDo very soon. Yes, the long-awaited grand opening of Koffeteria from former Top Chef contestant Vanarin Kuch happens next month on November 15. Until then, you can read more about the Houston native’s journey on Voyage Houston.
EaDo Bike Co. is encouraging community members to join fellow cyclists in an early ride to the polls on Saturday, October 26 at 9 a.m. The goals: ensure bike safety is on local politicians’ agendas, get a workout, and avoid election day lines. Educational information on the official nominees will be provided, and participants will also receive a special limited-edition Vote in Mass sticker.
