Get outdoors this weekend!
With lovely weather forecasts on the horizon, it’s a great time to discover or revisit your favorite spots in EaDo.
Work up an appetite or go for a relaxing stroll. Take a trip around the neighborhood and hunt for the best piece of public art to snap a selfie. Looking to exercise? The Columbia Tap Trail is a great spot for biking, skating, jogging, or walking—and a trip to the trail is a great excuse to stop in at EaDough, located at Velasco and Polk, for coffee and a pastry.
If you’re looking to take in a full al fresco meal, pop into Leeland House/Around the Corner or Rodeo Goat. The outdoor spaces are great for people-watching while enjoying the long-awaited fall breezes.
The home team plays Thursday night at 7 p.m. and Friday at 4 p.m. before the series hopefully returns to Minute Maid for Game 6 on Sunday!
Lastly, join a Houston Dynamo watch party this Saturday for their final match of the season. The EaDo-based soccer team clinched a playoff spot and this weekend’s match in Portland decides home-field advantage. Watch the game at Pitch 25, Texas Tailgate, and other EaDo bars.
