Oysters, specialty pizza, and a brand new parking lot. These are just a few of the exciting changes District 7 Grill is making after 16 years in EaDo at 1508 Hutchins Street. Current building renovations include a dining room revamp, and soon-to-be completed remodeled bathrooms, along with a new parking lot.

The upgraded kitchen will include a pizza oven, which means a wide array of specialty pizzas similar to those served at District 7’s Midtown pizzeria. Housemade pizza dough and sauces set the standard for several options, which includes traditional pies in addition to the more adventurous bison buffalo, wild boar, or pulled pork pizzas. Picky and/or creative diners can also opt to make their own versions.

Pizza isn’t the only exciting thing coming to the menu; oyster lovers will appreciate newly added fresh shucked or grilled bivalves, and a full liquor license is in the works to supplement the current wine and beer offerings.

This summer, owners plan to build out the bar and extend the current back room to the patio, where a lighting makeover will help highlight the show stopping tree and cozy neighborhood ambience.
