Local EaDo burger joint Rodeo Goat was visited by Houston KPRC writer Carlos Hernandez for his “Extreme Foods” segment. Hernandez tried the Bodacious burger and took it to the extreme by adding two beef patties, which meant Hernandez had to tag in another person to assist him to finish it. Huynh Restaurant Family-Friendly Environment
Houston Press freelance writer Brooke Viggiano made her way to EaDo’s Huynh restaurant in search of a family-friendly environment suitable for the new addition to her family. Viggiano’s verdict: it’s kid- and family-friendly, and the food is as good as ever.
After approval of Senate Bill 1450 (allowing the delivery of alcoholic beverages to be delivered with food orders), Vinny’s Pizza on St. Emmanuel Street is excited to add wine to its delivery menu. In an article with the Houston Chronicle, Vinny’s Pizza Sommelier Curtis Sibley talked about this new venture and his recommended pizza and drink pairings.
Events
Miss Carousel’s New Year’s Eve bash will begin at 8 p.m. with Astronavtz in the DJ booth. General admission is $20, but those looking to reserve sections can do so by calling 832-582-7330. Reserved sections include the option for bottle service and pre-batched cocktails for you and your guests.
Lucky’s Pub will be hosting a New Year’s Eve party paying homage to previous decades. Live music and DJs will play music spanning from the ’70s to the ’00s in different rooms, and party favors will be available for everyone in attendance. Tickets are available now, and prices range from $60 to $541.95. All tickets will include access to an open bar of selected brands.
