Flu Shot Season

It’s flu season, and it’s important to take it seriously—though some strains are common, the flu can be deadly. The Houston Health Department offers flu shots at its health centers to uninsured and underinsured people on a sliding scale that ranges from free to $15. The nearest health center for EaDo residents is La Nueva Casa De Amigos Health Center, located at 1809 North Main Street. To schedule an appointment or find another health center, people can call 832-393-5427 or the City of Houston 311 Help and Infoline.
