The City of Houston partners with Russell Westbrook and Comp-U-Dopt
Mayor Turner has partnered with Rockets star Russell Westbrook’s nonprofit organization and Comp-U-Dopt to provide 650 computers to children in need of access to online resources for school. Read more here.
The Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs directs funds to programs supporting artists
$25,000 of arts funding is being given to programs that help Houston artists who have lost wages or potential projects due to the COVID-19 crisis. If you’d like to contribute, follow this link to make a donation online.
8th Wonder Brewery is doing their part to help local musicians and artists during this crisis. They recently hired Houston artist Donkeeboy to paint a portrait of everyone’s favorite tree painter: Bob Ross. You can watch the making of the mural on their Facebook page.

True Anomaly
True Anomaly Brewing is open for pickup Monday thru Friday, 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday through Sunday, noon to 8 p.m. You can order and pay online at the brewery’s website. For product updates, be sure to follow their page on Instagram.
East End Hardware
East End Hardware is open for curbside pickup with cocktails, lunch and dinner specials. You can order lunch every day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Weekend dinner specials start at 6 p.m. and last until menu items sell out. Call ahead orders (713-497-5868) are preferred.
AHH, Coffee!
Get your fresh brew of coffee from AHH, Coffee! Open everyday from 7 a.m.to 1 p.m. Walk-in orders are still welcome but, for the safety of staff and customers, curbside pick up and phone orders are preferred. Their menu is available online.
