Houston Dynamo legend opens EaDo patio bar
Double your bars, double the fun! Brian Ching is opening his second EaDo concept, East End Backyard. The former Houston Dynamo superstar also owns Pitch 25. Backyard will be a prime spot to catch the Astros, should they advance to the next round of the MLB playoffs.
Brass Tacks is officially open
Coffee, food, friendly service, lots of workspace, and plenty of parking. Check out Brass Tacks this weekend if you’re itching for tasty sips on a spacious patio. The cafe is located in a beautifully renovated building at 612 Live Oak Street.
EaDo based non-profit expands its reach
In a recent KRBE radio interview, Tanah Battise, shop manager at Houston Threads, discussed the nonprofit’s expanded efforts to provide local, at-risk teens with clothing and accessories.

Need something to celebrate? Well, taproom hours have been extended at Houston’s favorite brewery. On Fridays and Saturdays, WonderWorld will be open from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday through Thursday from 12 p.m. 8 p.m. The brewery is continuing to ask guests to continue practicing social distancing and to mask up when not seated.
