Getting excited for the new Dynamo season? It officially kicks off Saturday, March 3 at BBVA Compass Stadium. Assuming you’ve got your parking and tickets situated, here are some need-to-know points for opening day and beyond.
- Leave any throwable objects at home (including streamers), per new MLS regulations. A statement from MLS says: For the safety of fans, players and officials, any throwable objects are NOT allowed at BBVA Compass Stadium. Please be aware, this policy now includes streamers and will be in effect for all BBVA Compass Stadium events, including Houston Dynamo and Houston Dash home matches.
- The team will be wearing new jersey designs known as the Energy Kit. The jerseys were designed with “the help of several of H-town’s most creative and recognizable figures from the art and music scenes – as well as Mayor Sylvester Turner, a prominent supporter of La Naranja.”
- Can’t make the game, but want to listen to it? Note that the team is “dropping their English-language radio game broadcasts this season in favor of weekly podcasts” and will be available on Kube57. Continued coverage for matches will still be available on Spanish radio.
