Winners are everywhere in EaDo
Congratulations to the Houston Dynamo on their playoff win against Real Salt Lake on Sunday! Amine Bassi’s goal in the 79th minute of the match broke a 1-1 tie before the defense stepped up to lock down a victory.
Now, the team heads to Utah for game two in the best-of-three-game series. Kickoff is at 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 6, and the official watch party is set at Pitch 25. Make plans to cheer on EaDo’s team from afar as they try to advance to the MLS Western Conference semifinals.
Athletes aren’t the only ones in the neighborhood racking up the wins. Five EaDo restaurants landed on the Houston Chronicle’s Top 100, including Nancy’s Hustle, Koffeteria, Tiny Champions, Roots, and J-Bar-M.
Of course, EaDo has plenty more dining destinations that didn’t make the cut but can still serve up fantastic meals. Tacos from Brother’s, pizza by Vinny’s, burgers from Rodeo Goat, and Hot Dogs by YoYo’s are just a few of the top picks from those in the know.
Tuesday, Nov. 7 is Election Day in Houston. If you didn’t vote early, Tuesday is your last chance to have a voice in who represents our community.
