Calling all graphic designers and artists
An EaDo-based nonprofit that empowers local veterans is hosting a t-shirt design contest. Check out Combined Arm’s current merchandise line then start designing their newest gear. The submission deadline for the contest is 10/23.
BBQ pop-up returns to 8th Wonder
Chill ‘n grill this Saturday 9/26 with Big Daddy Karne BBQ. The Tex-Mex team is serving their brisket tacos at 8th Wonder from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. If you’re unable to make it, good news: they plan to be at the brewery every 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month from now on.
On Sunday 9/27, the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston is partnering with EaDo’s FiTMiX Yoga & Latin Fitness Studio to host a virtual Zumba class. Tune into MFAH on the Move with instructor Yuri Amor Perez, via Facebook Live. The class starts at 11 a.m.

Round and around we go! Another EaDo favorite is reopening its doors, every Thursday through Saturday, 4 p.m. to 12 a.m.. Check out their current drink menu. Food selection will be provided by Vinny’s Pizza.
It’s finally cooling off outside—making a volleyball court seem like the best place for your next EaDo weekend get-together (while you continue to practice safe socially distancing). Deadlines to register for coed soccer are also coming up next week: 9/29 (7 vs 7) and 9/30 (9 vs 9).
