Houston Restaurant Weeks is underway
The month-long fundraiser for the Houston Food Bank runs August 1 through September 5, and several EaDo establishments are among the 300+ restaurants participating. Roots has a brunch and dinner option, while Chef Martha at Indianola brings Texas flair to every dish. For some great grilling, check out the three-course menu at J-Bar-M Barbecue.
This beach party lasts all day and night
Texas Tailgate is celebrating its one-year anniversary on Saturday, August 6. DJ Rosez takes the day shift, and DJ Loon steps in once the sun goes down. A dunking booth, prizes, local vendors, and more will be part of the fun at this beach-themed party.
Change surrounds Brothers Taco House
Over the past 20 years, Brothers Taco House has seen lots of change throughout EaDo. The one thing that stays the same? A loyal following keeps returning year after year for some of the best breakfast tacos in town. That’s why this EaDo restaurant’s history and menu landed them in the Houston Chronicle’s recent Cambios series.
