Happy hour may not be the most important time of the day, but it’s definitely the most fun. That’s especially true when you consider the great deals on offer at EaDo’s bars and restaurants, and we’ve cataloged some of the best for your convenience here.

Around the Corner Bar

This bungalow-turned-bar is known for neighborhood charm and its back patio with a great view of the Downtown Houston skyline, all made that much more enjoyable during weekday happy hours from 3-7 p.m. In addition to drink specials, that happy hour now includes pastor, barbacoa, and salmon tacos. The bar often hosts weeknight and weekend specials—check out the Facebook page for updates.

Chapman & Kirby

This steampunk-inspired gastrolounge named for the founders of Houston has a huge outdoor patio perfect for taking advantage of all-night happy hours on Wednesdays. From 4 p.m. until closing, Chapman & Kirby offers $4 bottled beer, $5 draft beer, $6 select wines by the glass, and $7 specialty cocktails. For those looking for a deal with a meal, the Thursday steak night special includes half-priced wine bottles.

Little Woodrow’s

At the best Little Woodrow’s location in Houston (ok, maybe we’re biased), the bar’s Friday happy hour from noon to 7 p.m. is as easy to remember as “3,4,5.” Take advantage of Summer Fridays with $3 domestic drafts, $4 well drinks and $5 for select calls.

Miss Carousel

If you can’t make it to the happy hour from 4-6 p.m. daily at Agricole Hospitality’s EaDo cocktail bar, you’re in luck: Wednesdays are a happy evening. Yes, from opening at 4 p.m. to closing at midnight, you can enjoy $6 margaritas, Moscow mules (pictured above), and old fashioneds, in addition to $7 wine by the glass, and $3 8th Wonder Dome Fauxm, Live Oak Hefeweizen, and Eureka Heights Mini Boss IPA.

Pitch 25

Co-founded by former Dynamo star Brian Ching, Pitch 25 is your go-to happy hour bar if you like beer and variety. Happy hours run from 3-6 p.m. weekdays, with prices just $3 on a huge selection of draft beers. Check out the menu for yourself here.

Rodeo Goat

Word to the wise: Don’t drink on an empty stomach. Rodeo Goat makes that easy enough with a weekday happy hour that pairs excellently with its specialty burgers. From 4-7 p.m. Monday-Friday, Rodeo Goat offers beer buckets with five beers for the price of four.
