Kick off your weekend with some culture

8th Wonder Distillery is welcoming its newest art installation featuring work from Priscilla Ramos and wants you to join the celebration. A live plant sale and music from Angel Alba will complement the botanically-inspired work’s unveiling this Friday from 6-10 p.m.

Twenty years of tacos

Stop by this Pop-Up Market on Saturday as Brothers Taco House recognizes its 20th year of great Mexican food. Enjoy live music, vendors, mariachi, and more.

Field Day fun for the kiddos

Stop summer boredom in its tracks. Bring your 7 to 14-year-olds to Sports Creek Houston’s 2nd Annual Kids Field Day. Beginning at 4 p.m. this Saturday, there will be inflatables, go-karts, relay races, and even a water fight.

Take in a soccer game or two.

The Astros are the only professional team in town this weekend. The Dash take on Chicago on Friday night, and the Dynamo have a match versus Kansas City on Saturday. Affordable tickets are still available.
