City issues boil water notice

Extreme winter weather has created significant water pressure problems. Houston has responded by asking residents to limit water use to essential tasks (avoiding appliance usage like washing machines and dishwashers, or outdoor water systems) and to turn off your water if pipes have burst.

COVID testing and vaccination centers to remain temporarily closed

The city announced that all testing and vaccination centers would stay closed on Wednesday, Feb 17. If you are one of the approximately 1,000 people with vaccination appointments scheduled, you will be contacted by the department to reschedule.
