In this week’s digest: Pumpkin smashing, masquerade balls, and big soccer news.

Live music and pumpkin smashing

Truck Yard’s Halloween Bash opens at 11 a.m. this Saturday. In addition to drink specials, you can enter your pup into a Dog Costume Contest and yourself into a Human Costume Contest—or the other way around, if the costumes are good enough. Don’t forget to wear a regular, non-Halloween mask as well.

What’s Halloween with a Masquerade Ball?

Party with Miss Carousel from 7 p.m. to  2 a.m. this Saturday. The event will feature mini dance floors for you and your ghoulish quarantine crew. Reserve your section by calling 832-582-7330. Don’t forget to wear a regular, non-Halloween mask as well.

The Dash score big

Head Coach James Clarkson, who helped the Dash claim their first championship during the 2020 NWSL Challenge Cup series, has agreed to a new contract. Hopefully that means many more big wins for EaDo and Houston in the future.
