A Fresh EaDo Development will Feature Two Favorites
EaDo continues to attract new developers hoping to tap into the neighborhood’s unique vibe and prime location. The latest project comes courtesy of a collaboration between real estate firms Pagewood and Wile Interests.
Announced this week, phase one of East Blocks will break ground next year and transform 500,000 square feet of warehouse space into a mix of restaurants, shops, offices, and parking. The plans for the properties near Shell Energy Stadium draw inspiration from the area’s rail history and encourage pedestrian traffic using an open-air alleyway approach.
Two of EaDo’s most popular businesses have already signed on as the first of many anticipated tenants. 8th Wonder Brewery and Pitch 25 plan to anchor the East Blocks project upon completion. Keep an eye out for more updates as the planned transformation progresses.
However, you don’t need to wait to enjoy a couple of unique offerings from the soon-to-be lead tenants.
8th Wonder Brewery is hosting its annual CELEBR8ION event on Saturday. Stop in and help them celebrate 10 fantastic years in EaDo with craft beer, live music, a local vendor market, and more. Admission is free, and the fun starts at noon.
Over at Pitch 25, you can start your holiday shopping on Sunday thanks to the Thanksgiving Mixer and Market. Bring your kids and/or pets to enjoy a delicious brunch before checking out some great gifts from local artists and vendors.
Of course, Thanksgiving is only a week away, and time is running out if you’re looking for help with your holiday meal.
