Thanksgiving week is here, and there’s no shortage of ways to celebrate in the neighborhood.
Texas Tailgate is kicking things off with a Friendsgiving event on Wednesday featuring a limited supply of free turkeys and all the fun you can handle. Then, after your Turkey Day meal on Thursday, you can get out of the house and head over to True Anomaly for a cold brew starting at 2 p.m.
On Friday, Pitch 25 will try out a new tradition by launching its first annual Gobble and Goals Gathering. Bring the family and compete for the top spot in soccer and dodgeball competitions. There’s also painting at East End Backyard on Saturday and a dog show at Little Woodrow’s EaDo on Sunday.
Best of all, playoff soccer is back on Sunday as the Dynamo continue their MLS Cup run. The team will take the pitch at Shell Energy Stadium at 6 p.m. versus Sporting KC. Get tickets for the whole family and help the home team move one step closer to a championship.
If you’re looking for local Black Friday Deals, consider taking these hot wheels for a spin with 20% off at EaDo Big Boy Toy Rentals. EaDo Bike Co. also has big discounts thanks to a holiday sale through Dec. 17.
Mayweather Boxing + Fitness is keeping their Black Friday deal under wraps for a little longer, but they will open at noon on Thanksgiving Day to help you work off those extra calories. Similarly, EaDo Fitness will have CrossFit and Bootcamp options waiting for you Friday morning.
